Redesign Partners consists of 10 professionals and is led by its three managing partners.
Robert Dingemanse, Partner (b. 1963)
Robert re-joined Redesign Partners in 2003 following his position of CEO at Thomson Professional Cameras, the merged entity of Philips’ and Thomson’s professional camera divisions. For Redesign Partners, Robert has held the position of management board member of Slavenburg, CEO of PAL-V Europe NV and management board member of Koop Holding, where he launched and redesigned several energy-related and telecom-related businesses. He also worked with several other companies in redefining and implementing their strategies. As CEO, Robert led the redesign of Philips Broadcast Cameras which successfully took the business from years of losses to sustainable profit by focusing on strategic change, product pruning, organisational change and implementation of process management. Prior to these positions, Robert was head of Strategy and M&A for Philips Industrial Electronics where he was responsible for more than 30 M&A projects and new business creation projects. In this position he co-founded the Philips Redesign Center together with Willem Haverkamp. In his cooperation with companies he specialises in General Management, Strategic Planning, Redesign Management and M&A.
Willem Haverkamp, Partner (b. 1946)
Willem established Redesign Partners as an independent firm in 2002 whilst applying the strategic approach and change management framework he had previously employed at the Philips Redesign Center on two publicly quoted companies where he was operating as CEO: AmaTech AG (Germany) and AINO N.V. (Netherlands). Willem led Redesign Partners in 2004 to rescue Koop Holding b.v. from financial distress. Koop was a family investment holding with consolidated revenues of €1 billion and was successfully turned around by focusing on three energy and telecoms related businesses. Prior to Redesign Partners, Willem held the position of Executive Vice President at Royal Philips Electronics and head of the Philips Redesign Center where he worked with a number of Philips businesses. Willem had been implementing change and transformation processes from 1977 to 1995 as Philips country MD on a number of different businesses for Philips across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. In his cooperation with companies he specialises in Redesign Management, Strategy and General Management.
Olivier Gorter, Partner (b. 1970)
Olivier re-joined Redesign Partners in 2003 after having held the position of CFO of Arvato Services Benelux, a division of Bertelsmann. Focused on deal structuring, Olivier led the acquisition and debt structuring processes for the Breedenborg / Koop group and for Slavenburg. As delegated President of the Board and CFO of Slavenburg Holdings, Olivier supervised a downsizing, restructuring and turnaround necessary due to the financial crisis, and successfully refinanced the company in 2009. For Koop Holding, Olivier was CFO and management board member. In this capacity he managed the refinancing of the company with a €220 million credit facility and led the transition to a professional financial organisation. Furthermore he optimised the financing structure of various investments. Prior to Redesign Partners, Olivier was CFO at Arvato Services Benelux. Working for the Philips Redesign Center, Olivier was responsible for the changes in a high-tech plastics company and of an aerospace parts manufacturer. Olivier founded Kick-Start Ventures, a small Venture Capital fund, and previously worked for Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman). From 1998, Olivier has been involved in Mercer cases for Philips Redesign. In his cooperation with companies Olivier specialises in Financial structuring, Strategic and Financial Analysis and Change Management.
